Brad Byrd

Singer-songwriter and troubadour Brad Byrd has made a name for himself over the years. His music can be heard in popular TV shows and films as well as on the radio — legendary LA-based DJ/podcaster Nic Harcourt is a believer and regularly features songs from Byrd’s catalog.

With a consistent road and release history, Byrd has built up a momentum that is now attracting some of the biggest names and talents in the industry. He recently cut four new songs at the iconic LA recording studio Sunset Sound with producer Bill Mims, who just wrapped recording Morrissey’s latest album in France.

2023 has already been one for the books for the indie rock/alt country artist, from a string of successful appearances at SXSW to opening for longtime friend Pete Yorn to a crowd of more than 800 at the famed California-desert venue Pappy + Harriet’s. He has also shared the stage with country performer Jesse Daniel and Jay Farrar of Uncle Tupelo and Son Volt, among others, and recently completed a West Coast tour with acclaimed, Grammy-nominated songwriter and visual artist Joseph Arthur.

It's no wonder there’s a buzz around Brad’s newly released album, “The Bright Lights Fade Away.” If you’re a fan of The War on Drugs, The Church, Kurt Vile, Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn or Joseph Arthur, you’ll like what you hear.
