IGGY POP & BETHANY COSENTINO
...king of punk paired up with BEST COAST's BETHANY COSENTINO for a one of a kind duet for HBO's True Blood
What a great use of “Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow” – from our favorite ambient southern mystics HAMMOCK – in The CW series THE ORIGINALS this week!
So cool that two artists repped by Laurel Canon had music in shows aired last night – did anyone catch Della Swiss’ “Go” in Bravo’s “Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce” or The Left Hands’ “Love Is A Bomb” in ABC’s “Switched at Birth”?
Now how cool is this feature about Dengue Fever’s amazing new record “The Deepest Lake” on NPR?
Very excited to announce this Billboard feature about the fantastic new release from the Well Pennies – “Endlings.”
Married duo Sarah and Bryan Vanderpool talk about the origin of their band name (hint: Tom Waits played a role), how Spotify has given them a huge boost (millions of plays), their popular cover of the Beatles’ “All My Loving” on the “Beatles Reimagined” compilation, and how they wrote their first single “Drive” about a cross country car trip to LA from Boston.

And hey – look for their fantastic song “The Echo and The Shadow” in ABC Family’s “The Fosters” on Feb. 9.
Laurel Canon is very excited to announce the signing of Amerciana great James McMurtry and composer Julian Wass.
Stephen King in Entertainment Weekly said of James: “The simple fact is that James McMurtry may be the truest, fiercest songwriter of his generation…” James’ new album “Complicated Game” only underscores that fact.
Julian Wass is one of the hottest young composers working in Indie Film today – having scored for directors like the DUPLASS BROTHERS (Do-Deca-Pentathalon), JENEE LAMARGUE (The Pretty One), and DAX SHEPARD (Brother’s Justice).
We are excited to be working with both of these exceptional artists.
We are thrilled about the end credit use of Dengue Fever’s “Seeing Hands” in epsiode 111 of “Matador” for El Rey tv.
Keep an ear out for the excellent Well Pennies’ track “The Echo and the Shadow” in the ABC Family drama “The Fosters”, coming in February…
Here’s a nice video of the use of Kaitlin Riegel’s “Silhouettes” in Showtime’s “Shameless” from earlier this year…
The music of two Laurel Canon artists will be featured in HBO’s True Blood 709 – a week from this Sunday. Be sure to watch!
