Sara Melson

Sara Melson’s insightful, inspiring lyrics and unique, distinctive voice led Yahoo Music to choose her as their “New Buzz Artist,” calling her “one of the most fearless singer-songwriters on the planet.” Her timeless songs blur boundaries between folk, rock, pop, and country. Sara’s second full-length record, A Million White Stars, released in spring of 2013, was selected for an iTunes homepage feature. Tracks from Sara’s recent EP, The Beachwood Canyon Sessions, and her self-produced debut album Dirty Mind (Nettwerk Records) have appeared in numerous film & TV shows, including Grey’s Anatomy and a multi-spot Chevy campaign. She has shared the stage with Ben Folds, Juliana Hatfield, Ben Lee, Inara George, Neil Halstead, West Indian Girl, and Lissie, among others, and sang backing vocals for Moby on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Dandy Warhols, and Mojave 3 on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.
