Wolverhampton UK-born DAVID NEWTON was once the guitarist, songwriter and driving force behind alternative/college radio chart-toppers THE MIGHTY LEMON DROPS. After the break-up of the Drops, Dave relocated to Los Angeles where he turned his garage in Burbank into a recording studio. THEE MIGHTY ANGELS is Dave’s first ever solo musical project, self-produced, performed and recorded in Burbank & Joshua Tree. His beautifully produced, energetic pop also sounds fantastic to picture (as witnessed in The CW’s “LA Complex“ and an AG Jeans commercial). We are big fans of Dave’s uplifting take on the post-punk sound and hope you’ll keep his great songs in mind for your next project.
