This San Francisco band was so good. They were named “Best Pop Band” by the East Bay Express. And “Best Indie Band” by the SF Bay Guardian. They sold out the Fillmore. They got signed to Interscope. (We’re talking 2006-2012 here). Lead singers/writers Lisa Light and Scott Blonde were also a romantic couple. When their relationship frayed, they made one last glorious independent record together, “Let’s Be Friends”, and broke up. But what a record.
