MAGGIE POPE

Philadelphia-based Singer/Songwriter Maggie Pope pairs an ethereal vocal with expressive songwriting, delivering folk tunes that have been described by award-winning songwriter, Eryn Michel, as “poignant, an invitation to reflect… it’s nostalgia for a place you’ve never been, a whisper of a memory you wish you hadn’t forgotten.”

Her music is often simple and acoustic, but sometimes explores more lush production and collaborations with other artists. She’s currently working with Nicholas Gunty (of Frances Luke Accord) on several upcoming releases, and her recent single, The Bird Painter, was produced by Steve Varney (frontman of Kid Reverie, and banjoist/guitarist for Gregory Alan Isakov), and features his warm vocal harmonies and creative musical arrangements.
